Three of us ate here one Wednesday evening during early November. I hadn't pre-booked, and we were fortunate enough to get a table, We had 9 dishes between us, which was plenty. The food was very tasty and well presented. Together with drinks, the bill was 100. The staff were friendly and welcoming, providing a good service. We prefer non chain establishments, and this certainly fits the criteria. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and is a cafe during the day! It was a great place to visit.

Fantastic food, helpful and friendly staff. A great experience. Even though we were advised how much to order, we ordered too much and we were sad to see great food go to waste. Everything was very tasty, some of it very spicy, but how lucky are we to have such a great Indian restaurant in Keswick. We’re loved the menu and the fact it was clearly labelled to avoid gluten and dairy. Lots of vegan options as well We will be back again and again.

Highly recommend Barua Street Food if staying in Keswick. We ordered 5 dishes between two of us and it was definitely enough! Recommend the lamb dish and onion bhaji. Cocktails were great too. It isn't spicy, though, if that's a key essential

My husband and I came here Friday night with our puppy. The food was outstanding, we wish we had room for more, and the service was 10/10. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Wish we didn’t live so far away so we can visit again soon.

A great find! I love Indian street food, and it really shows that the owners are very enthusiastic about it too! The paratha was so light and flaky and the fish curry really delicious. The waiter was lovely and really helpful. I liked the selection of dishes on offer and there were some good cocktails as well!

Really enjoyed everything we ordered- the onion bhajis, paratha and dhal were all so good! This spot is dog friendly too which is a big bonus. Great staff they were really friendly. I only wish I had the chance to sample the cocktail menu as it sounds so good.

Just had a delicious meal at this restaurant. The restaurant had cool music playing which set the vibe. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The food was slightly different from any other Indian we have eaten, and to top it off they are very dog friendly. One of the best meals we have ever had. Can't wait to go back.

VISIT HERE ASAP! We just turned up on the off chance we could get in and they found us 2 seats in the window. We stayed for over 2hrs and had some of the best Indian food we have ever had. This isn't your normal 'British' Indian food. It's authentic Indian food as you would get on India! The flavours these guys get into every dish is insane and perfect portion sizes for sharing. The manager and his staff are so nice, they really make you feel welcome. They have a great selection of beers on offer too! If you haven't been here then just go and enjoy it, its not to be missed! Thanks guys, see you again soon!!
